We had a booking of 8 and we all enjoyed our meal.
Not a single complaint. Being a newly diagnosed coeliac it was so easy to get food I could actually eat and didn't taste like cardboard. They wait staff were lovely and very easy to chat with. Little on the noisy side just as it was busy and lots of people chatting. Great service , good food , reasonable prices , went for a special family birthday and our waitress made our special guest feel so welcome.
Fabulous quality food and great staff! Always a fabulous time had by all. Amazing food and great service. Best burgers in town. A good menu with a wide variety of choices. Plenty of Gluten free options, not just for people "on trend" but for actual coeliacs, Other alergies etc. Young and Foolish has filled a void that existed in the Brandon Park shopping centre, and in the region more broadly.
Whilst not especially adventurous, the menu has something for everyone and the food is fresh and well-presented. Without doubt, the friendly but unobtrusive service and the coffee. I have walked past so many times and had wondered what it was like, so was very pleased to be able to finally try this place.

It did not disappoint and I will definately be back, and will bring different people. I have eaten here once before and was keen to go back. Both nights that we went to this restaurant have been cold and windy outside so its rather cold when the door is used by customers.
I had the platter for 2 as my main course. Rather delicious except the ribs were chewy and the popcorn chicken overcooked. The salad was a fresh taste to break up the fried food. I requested the sticky date pudding and wanted to know if it was served warm. The waiter said it was warmed. It tasted ok but it was not warmed and not enough sauce. I'm not sure if i will hurry back there again.. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious and we enjoyed our time together!
It was our first time at this cafe. It is a very vibrant and sun filled space. Was very busy and glad that we had a reservation. Food was good as was the service. A little noisy where we were seated Just a suggestion, to maybe group the tables as to the seating capacity. Great experience, thank you. Love the new style dining room, the new menu was amazing we had the fish and lamb salad. Tasty and fresh, a really top quality meal. Service as always is awesome.

Emma is great!!! Thank you we will be back really soon. As always amazing service and the food was timely and on point. The barramundi was cooked to perfection my husband had the rib eye which was mouth watering. I love the ambience here, friendly and inviting - and the fig and almond gelato to take home was amazing. Thanks again we will be back!!! I found the experience was quite pleasant, service was great. Great service and food. Definite must for a quick luncheon. You can see, the owners have attention to detail and have but their heart and sole into the business.
Well done and keep up the good work. Staff are wonderful. Good neighbourhood gem. Good service, reasonable collection of alcohol and quite a few meal choices. Very tasty food, lovely atmosphere.

Will definitely come back again. The food and ambience of the restaurant was outstanding! Definitely recommend the brekky and brunch options. Serving time can be improved and also we couldn't split the bill as the manager advised it was not possible due to busy hours. Overall satisfied with the experience. Great food, service and prices. Nice food with a great selection. Vegan food which is why we booked there Nice place.
We will go again. Great service, good food, not a huge range on the menu, which made it easier to make a choice. Very Happy overall. My wife and I have become regulars at Young and Foolish. We rate Young and Foolish as being one of Melbournes top eating venues. I imagine in time Young and Foolish might be forced to meet this increased demand by extending their opening hours. The food, its presentation, the professional way in which is served can not be faulted.

Perhaps the only issue I have would be the vinyl seating which can be uncomfortable, particularly during warm weather. The vinyl might wear well and be easy to clean but its not comfortable. Thank you.

I guess its very hipster and that's ok. Just felt like a seafood basket and ended up with fish bait. Great place to have in Brandon Park. At last, a good dining spot. Good menu, friendly place. I always enjoy dining at Young and Foolish. I like the individual flair with popular dishes. There was a problem with the seating ,service and they were put off by the bright green risotto. I think a couple of additions to the dinner menu would give it wider appeal. Your cakes are delightful ,always look extra fresh.

Great to have a quality restaurant with reasonable prices so close to home. My husband is a fan. The coffee is great, the service is good but the food is over rated.
